Background & Education

I am a life-long learner who enjoys helping people identify their strengths to become the best version of themselves.

My counseling philosophy is that everyone can L.E.A.D. I empower others to lead themselves with love, education, action, and discipline. I view clients holistically and celebrate their differences while helping them to improve their psychological, mental, and emotional well-being.

Through compassion, patience, and a down-to-earth sense of humor, I hope to cultivate a non-judgmental space for clients to be their authentic selves.

I am a Clinician and a Consultant. Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC011562), and a National Board Certified Counselor (NBCC) with an M.A in School Counseling, Clark Atlanta University, and a B.A in Psychology, University of West Georgia.

My clinical training was completed at the Tanner Center for Behavioral Health (Outpatient) with intensive inpatient training experience at schools and with clients from ages 4 to 55+.

In addition to my work as a therapist, I have worked as a Professional School Counselor. I’ve provided skills training for educators and students with a focus on social-emotional learning and restorative practice. I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends. I love to travel and enjoy outdoor activities.
